Steven has dedicated the past 25 years to design and manufacturing roles in both the Automotive and Appliance industries, working locally and internationally and has led and mentored engineers throughout his career. His passion also extends to Architecture and Landscape Design, where he thrives on bringing ideas to life
Originally in the Automotive industry, he retrained and completed a BSc in Innovation and Product Design with Management, while living in the UK.
Steven is excited and passionate about the future of Advanced Air Mobility in Aotearoa New Zealand, both for our growing urbans cities, but especially for those living in remote and rural locations. Currently living in Toko Mouth, South Otago, an hour from Dunedin, and through personal experience, he came to realise how vulnerable small communities in our country can be, when in time of an emergency. In one incident a helicopter, transfer to hospital took only 15 mins and in another, an ambulance took 90mins to travel the same distance.
