Elevating Horizons: A Groundbreaking Alliance for Advanced Air Mobility in Aotearoa

charlie.jpg

Kia hiwa rā, Kia hiwa rā!

Our team at VertiLink, in collaboration with our partners at Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Te Rangi iwi, are thrilled to officially announce our endeavour to champion the interests of Māori, and all New Zealanders within the emerging field of Advanced Air Mobility.

Wednesday 27th March 2024, marked a pivotal moment as we convened our inaugural forum in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, with the support and blessing of Mana whenua, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei.

The forum served as a platform to lay the groundwork for our collective journey into this innovative new sector.

What sets this initiative apart is the unwavering support of both our Government, through the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), and our national aviation regulator, the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAANZ).

This support underscores the significance of our mission and paves the way for meaningful progress.

Now, armed with increasing credibility and legitimacy, our focus turns to our people. It is imperative that we extend an invitation for their voices to be heard, their perspectives valued, and their aspirations realised.

Together, we have the opportunity to shape the future and integration of an Advanced Air Mobility system here in Aotearoa, that adds value to all New Zealanders.

Ngā mihi   |   Kind regards,
